Flight Instructor Certificate

I do not have enough experience to give training necessary to earn your initial CFI certificate; however, if you already have your initial CFI certificate, I can give the training needed for you to earn your CFII or MEI.

CFII Training:

Depending on how proficient you are flying approaches, it will take 2-5 flights to prepare you for your CFII checkride.  Initially we will do about 10-15 hours of ground covering everything you must know to the point where you can teach it.  Plan on studying and preparing a CFII notebook to help you instruct.

MEI Training:

Working as an MEI can be a dangerous job if you are not proficient and aware of what is going on around you at all times.  It can also be the key to more exciting instructing and to earn valuable multi-engine experience.  If you are proficient in flying a multi-engine airplane, you can expect 5-10 hours of dual instruction in the airplane to prepare you for the checkride.  The ground will consist of regulations, Vmc and Vyse, aerodynamics, and how to teach all the maneuvers.  The Systems training will cover the Apache as well as other unique systems you may experience in other twins.
